We had a very busy week this week! Yesterday we loaded a Salford chisel headed for New York. The shop guys headed to Columbus, Ohio to install row cleaners on a Kinze planter. We delivered some 5,000 gallon tanks to southern Ohio, and we are starting on a blade replacement project on a Krause Excellerator. Next week, we head to Ada, OH for the Conservation Tillage Conference. Also we head to the Ohio Beef Expo and hope to see all of you at one of those two shows! Next week, we will be assembling a Salford 2220 that came in this week. That unit will get a cover crop seeder on it as well. We have been busy with walk ins at the new parts warehouse as well. This BBI Liberty made its way to a new home yesterday to spread lime and fertilizer on a 1,200 acre farm. These spreaders are perfect for that size of operation.
This week Cody attended the Conservation Tillage and Technology Conference in Ada, OH. It was a great event that allowed us to meet up with several growers and talk about ways to improve their operation.

Which Fertilizer Coulter are you Running?
We have spent a lot of time in the field during side dress season seeing different applicators and brands of coulters work or not work. Ground conditions can play a big part in the success of some coulters and their ability to get fertilizer in the ground. Below are 2 videos that highlight parallel linkage coulters and what sets them apart. We are currently assembling a Salford 2220 in the shop. This unit gets hydraulic shanks, and a cover crop seeder.
This Salford 1241 got loaded up Wednesday and headed for its new home.
