Another cold spell made its way through the buckeye state this week, and we are in the heart of it right now. For us, sales have certainly picked up in the past 10 days. Tillage, fertilizer, spreaders, sprayers, and parts have been the hot topics. In the shop, we are still chipping away at the planter jobs, the Case IH is making some serious headway this week and may be completed today. Fort Wayne Farm show is on the horizon, and we are busy making plans for that and trying to figure out what we will put in the booth and what products we will highlight there. Our YouTube channel has been busy lately. I have been uploading new videos almost daily for your viewing pleasure. Be sure to digest all of them. Cody has also been doing a lot of TikTok videos. If you are on that platform, be sure to check out his sometimes informative, but always funny, videos.

We are putting a Yetter Nutrient Pro 4000 coulter on a planter for sub surface placement of liquid fertilizer. This coulter is super heavy duty and has a true depth gauge wheel. It is built to last. Learn more in the video below.

Making Planters Great Again
This week we will focus on the Case planter in the shop and talk about changes we are making to it. We are removing a unit mounted fertilizer opener system to eliminate its ability to affect the row unit. Not only that, but the new row cleaners we are putting on it are a lot easier to adjust and more forgiving. For the fertilizer, this Nutrient Pro 4000 is the real deal. The stoutest single disk opener I have seen. I also like the true depth adjustment that comes with it. When we are finished, the goal is to have a row unit that rides much smoother with less required down pressure, and fertilizer with consistent deep placement.

We lost the cab! This Deutz is getting split to fix some internal bearing and clutch issues.
It is wild to see a tractor in so many pieces. We have been doing a lot of service work with these tractors over the past year.
