Rain moved in and relieved a large part of the area this week. After the heat, it was very welcomed. I have spotted some tasseled corn in southern Ohio. Here in northern Ohio it is knee high. This week I traveled to South Dakota to visit Copperhead Ag. In Sioux Falls, they had 10"+ of rain last week, and water was everywhere. For us, we still have a lot of service calls going on. We had some Y drop toolbar service trips this week and a few side dress applicator trips. We are building a 41' Salford in the shop right now that will be delivered to our Nova store next week. Keep our Field Day date circled on the calendar, July 17th at 10:30 AM. This week we sold 2 tractors, one Deutz 5110 with a loader and a 2 wheel drive 70 HP Massey Ferguson. We traded in a New Holland 4 Wheel Drive tractor that will be online soon.

Copperhead Concaves Speed Up Harvest With Cleaner Samples
This week I traveled to Sioux Falls, South Dakota for the Copperhead Ag Open House. Out there, not only did I get to meet Owner Kevin Berg, but also all of the great staff at Copperhead Ag and First Manufacturing. In my opinion, one of the most intriguing products was the concaves. Many concaves today are just round bar. They require high rotor speeds, and in the end, can slow down harvest and now achieve maximum cleaning ability. Check out the video below.

This week we have a used Salford 16' 570. This is a hard to find size and especially of this condition. This is a 2011 unit with the newer style basket bearings, coil mounts, and brand new 20" 8 wave blades.
