A beautiful Fall week without rain! Combines are getting back into the fields to finish the remaining 50% of the crops that are left to harvest. This nice weather stretch will likely be our last opportunity of fair weather. Cover crops will need to be seeded yet and we still have a few final tillage demos to finish up here this next week. Our shop is swamped with projects both on the road and in shop installs. Today we have a crew headed to London, OH to install a Valmar 6056 on a 2660 Deere VT tool. Next week we will have new podcasts released and several videos of all sorts of tools in the field.

Yes that is right. We are headed to the cheese state to install another cover crop seeder! Tractor Central called us up because one of their customers watched our Youtube channel and saw a seeder mounted on a Deere 2660 VT 30 tool. So we loaded the trailer and we are going to have another happy customer with a Valmar. Listen in as we talk about fertilizer application trends we see happening specifically in Nh3.
We Put a Shank on a Yetter CC Unit.
And it worked! We talked in our last strip till video about how versatile this unit is. Being a coulter only unit from the factory, it can create fall strips, and spring strips and fully adjustable to meet any situation. We have had some customers ask if a shank could be added to make it the ultimate unit. The answer is now yes. A unit that can be a Spring only coulter unit or switch over to the shank for Fall deep fertilizer banding and compaction removal.
360 Bullet Point
Do you use a disk chisel in the Fall? Case 870, 870 or maybe a Deere 2700? The 360 Bullet Point is a great way to shatter compaction deep to allow infiltration of oxygen and water. Simply bolt the Bullet Point onto your tillage tool for better fracturing, root development, and water infiltration.
