We had a big crowd at the farm show almost every day. The final day, yesterday, was a little slow but still good. Of course, we talked a lot about planter setups and making changes to do better this year. Closing wheels were definitely the hot topic of conversation this year especially the new cast ring. New Products for Sidedress
Last year sidedress was brutal in some areas. The ground was so hard coulters would not penetrate, arms were breaking, and we went through a lot of wear parts. This new TruTrail coulter is the ticket to not only keeping coulters in the ground but because of the double spring/double arm design it trails square instead of constantly trying to twist. Check out the video below, and give us a call on that unit. Also if you are not yet running the triple threats on your sidedress applicator to more evenly distribute placement, that is a must have for this year.

This Blu-Jet applicator got loaded and sent to Illinois this week to its new home. We did have to take some of the coulters off of it to get it narrow enough.
