We ran into Jason Webster at a Precision Planting open house in Indiana and wanted to talk with him about strip tillage. Jason manages the Precision Planting research farm in IL and has a lot of valuable information regarding agronomy.
Usually we would be at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky this week, but of course that has been cancelled. February is, of course, a short month meaning March and warmer weather shouldn't be too far off. I have some Texas customers preparing to get planters fired up. A lot of the equipment we have been waiting on is starting to trickle in. As many of you know, lead times and availability of product is getting to be out of hand. If you need something, order it now. Next week we will launch several more videos, and we have 2 webinars lined up to bring you more and more in depth product information at your fingertips.
Have a great weekend and feel free to call 419-953-8500.
Are You Doing the Easy Steps to Improve Your Planter?
- Removing the No-Till Coulter
- Adding Yetter Poly Twisters
- Fertilizer on Both Sides of the row
- Add Row Cleaners
- New Disk Openers
These 5 things are the easiest and most cost effective things you can do to improve your planter this spring. Often overlooked but these things cannot go unnoticed. I often see customers investing a lot of money into precision planting products to maximize planting potential but still run a no till coulter or rubber closing wheels. Tackle the basics first. We can help you do that. Watch a couple videos below to see why.
